10 Best Instagram Filters You Should Use in 2019 https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/10-Best-Instagram-Filters-You-Should-Use-in-2019.jpg

Let’s face it, not everyone knows how to capture a perfect shot that can garner plenty of attention and grab tons of likes and comments on Instagram. Similarly, editing a photo like a pro is not everyone’s cup of tea. But that doesn’t mean you can’t instantly transform the entire look of your pic and make it appear eye-catching. Well, all you need to effortlessly adorn your shots in the blink of an eye is know which filter can enhance the appearance of your photos. If you are a full-time Instagrammer or someone who likes sharing awesome moments on the social networking platform, you must always keep the best Instagram filters at your disposal and use them smartly to add the missing charm to your shots and even get rid of blemishes. So, without further ado, here are the best Instagram filters that you should use in 2019.

Best Instagram Filters in 2019

Based on my personal experience and the kind of impact that they deliver, I’ve lined up the 10 best Instagram filters, which I believe, everyone should use in 2019. Knowing that one set of rules can’t apply to every taste, I’ve also handpicked some of the coolest Instagram filter apps for iOS and Android as well. That being said, let’s jump right in to find the most loved Instagram filters and why you should use them.

1. Juno

Right at the top of this roundup sits “Juno” which is one of my favorite Instagram filters. What it basically does is pump up both the contrast and vibrancy of an image, thereby making it look truly fascinating. Thanks to the addition of color-tints, the photos appear eye-catching or in other words seem to arrest eyes straightaway.

Juno Instagram Filter When Should You Use Juno?

Well, keep this impressive filter for the times where you wish the warm colors to pop-up and appear vivid. Besides, you should also save it when you want the brighter areas to arrest attention. It would add the much-needed vibrancy factor to your shots so that they never go amiss. That’s for sure!

2. Lark

Another Instagram filter that I often use to make my photos look appealing is Lark. It works efficiently in increasing the brightness of an image. But what I like most about it is that it keeps the natural flair intact so that your shot continues to appear pleasing to the eyes.

Lark Instagram Filter

When Should You Use Lark?

By subduing the color vibrancy, Lark ensures your image appear naturally bright. And that makes it spot on for outdoor shots. So, the next time your image is craving for a bit washed out or calmer effect, go for it!

3. Lo-Fi

Ah! “Lo-Fi” is kind of a rock star that gives your image a dramatic look so that it doesn’t have to work too hard to win attention. Thanks to the much deeper shadows and much more intense saturation for vibrant colors, your shots are able to shout out loud and grab the eyes with ease. But you must use this weapon cleverly.

Lo-Fi Instagram filter

When Should You Use Lo-Fi ?

Well, you should keep Lo-Fi for special occasions when you want your shots to grab eyeball even in the crowd. In other words, save this filter only when you wish to put more emphasis on shadows and bolster color vibrancy. After all, you don’t want to give up on a natural look all the time in favor of a more dramatic avatar, do you?

4. X-Pro II

Time to go for maximum contrast for a more fascinating impact. When there is an ardent desire to give your Instagram pic elegant flair, X-Pro II would be the way to go. Well, the reason why I’m backing for its inclusion is that special occasion demands for out-of-the-box stuff and this is where it can live up to the billing.

X-Pro II Instagram filter

When Should You Use X-Pro II?

Using a pretty robust vignette around the edges, X-Pro II darkens the shadow and makes colors appear more vibrant. Therefore, your images are able to steal attention effortlessly. Again, I would recommend you to give it a try only when the occasion wants your pic to standout.

5. Clarendon

“Clarendon” has caught up really well with me in recent times. And, there are multiple reasons why I find it so appreciable. First and foremost, this filter amplifies not only saturation but also contrast for brighter and adorable effect. And second, it also darkens the shadows so that everything looks right on the money.

Clarendon Instagram filter When Should You Use Clarendon?

The reason why you should always keep Clarendon on your radar is that it lets you pump up the lighter areas and darken up the shadows without making your pic look unnatural. Given how effectively it works, it should be an automatic choice on many occasions. If I were to call one Insta filter pretty cool, it has to be this one—without an iota of doubt.

6. Gingham

Is it high time you looked at your vintage best? If yes, put your hands on Gingham. So, how does this filter work? Well, it decreases the saturation and highlights to give your image a vintage look. And the softened color vibrancy, as well as aged appearance, seem to add a bit more depth. What’s more, the warm and slightly hazy appearance also brings in the nostalgic flavor to the photos.

Gingham Instagram filter

When Should You Use Gingham?

Times when you wish your pics to make you feel nostalgic with just a glance, Gingham can be worth giving a shot. Use it to liven up some of your throwback images or bring them into contention once again.

7. Ludwig

Have a penchant for a reddish look? If yes, chances are pretty high that Ludwig will win you over at the very first glance. It puts the entire emphasis on the red color by boosting saturation on it while diminishing the presence of all other colors like green, yellow, blue and more. So, your shot appears a lot warmer and lighter.

Ludwig Instagram filter

When Should You Use Ludwig?

Apart from giving a pretty warmer appearance to your images, Ludwig can also come in handy when you want the light and dark areas in the architectural structures to look in the perfect sync. So, there is more to it than what meets the eyes!

8. Rise

“Rise” has got a lot to offer. With the use of yellowish gold tint, this Instagram filter softens the photos to fade away blemishes. And, by increasing the exposure of the image, it makes it look brighter and of course a bit yellower as well. As a result, your shot has more chance to get likes and even invoke praiseworthy compliments.

Rise Instagram filter

When Should You Use Rise?

Well, you should use Rise to take the attention away from blemishes like pimples. Besides, it can also do a pretty good task in lighting up the dark and underexposed images. So, if you ever find your pics looking a bit too dark to go live on Instagram, bring on the Rise to light it up.

9. Valencia

I guess you are eager to experiment with an antique avatar, aren’t you? If the situation or the mood compels you to look different, Valencia is the one that can fit into your needs with aplomb.

Valencia Intagram filter

This Insta filter dulls colors, thereby offering a softer, warmer and brighter look to your photos. Due mainly to the more emphasis on yellow colors, the pic also feels pretty soothing to the eyes.

When Should You Use Valencia?

Well, whenever your mood decides to tone up the lighter colors, Valencia could be a pretty good bet. Thanks to the more focus on yellow hues and the tendency to look very warm, the pics have a high percentage chance to pass the acid test even to the most investigative eyes.

10. Mayfair

If you have been using Instagram for long, you may already be fully aware of “Mayfair.” Well, it has existed since 2012 and widely considered to be the most versatile Instagram filter. The reason why a lot of people find it so impressive is that it works immaculately and can seamlessly fit into different moods and any situations.

Mayfair

So, how does it work? It tends to brighten up the center of the photograph and sports a thin black border. As a result, your shot appears stunning. No wonder it’s the most ever used filter not just by normal Instagrammers but also by brands.

When Should You Use Mayfair?

Due mainly to the versatility, Mayfair can ideally find a place in any situation. However, it works at its best for evenly and well-lit scenes. One little tip: whenever you are not sure which filter to use or which one may be ideal for your pic, go for it without thinking twice.

Motorola India Focusing on Online Smartphone Market to Grow Business https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/motorola-one-power-camear-feat.jpg

Motorola One Power Review

Lenovo-owned handset major Motorola that saw its India shipments decline a whopping 70 per cent year-on-year (YoY) in 2018, is re-energizing its focus on growing business in the online space, a key company official has stressed.

A popular player in the affordable and mid-price segment in the country not-so-long ago, Motorola’s phone business has nosedived considerably in the wake of tough competition coming from its Chinese rivals.

“Our current focus is to grow the business in online space where we see opportunities. We do not require any specific headcount to grow the business. We operate in dual channel — both offline and online — and we would continue to have a very strong partnership with Flipkart,” Prashanth Mani, Managing Director, Motorola Mobility India, told IANS.

According to Counterpoint Research, the smartphone brand sunk from the sixth spot in 2017 to the 12th in 2018 in the competitive Indian market.

Asked if the company was mulling to discontinue any particular Moto or Lenovo series, Mani said: “Not specifically any series but there were products in sub-Rs 10,000 category which we exited. Unless we see it profitable, we will not launch in that category in India — that’s the principal policy.”

Is the handset maker looking to make India an export hub?

“We are not saying that we are looking to export from the profitability standpoint but, supply chain efficiencies are always important. Firstly, we wanted to have the opportunity to export products outside India,” said Mani.

In April, there were reports that the handset manufacturer was looking to start shipping devices to countries in Latin America and the Asia Pacific region.

“We have already exported some products like Lenovo K8, Note etc, out of India,” Mani informed.

The company currently has one Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) line in India in Chennai. It contract manufactures handsets in partnership with its global partner Flextronics from its Sriperumbudur facility near Chennai.

The manufacturing plant at Sriperumbudur that employs nearly 4,000 people has a capacity to produce about 12 million units a year.

Samsung Reportedly Manufacturing Galaxy Fold in India; Launch Imminent https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/galaxy-fold-featured.jpg

South Korean giant, Samsung may have been the first company to announce an actually foldable folding smartphone – the Galaxy Fold – but just a few weeks prior to its official launch, the company had to delay the smartphone because multiple review units encountered catastrophic display issues.

Since then, Samsung has been reassuring people that the Galaxy Fold is still very much alive and will be launched soon, and now, according to information from leakster Ishan Aggarwal, it seems Samsung has started manufacturing the Galaxy Fold in India.

This most likely hints that the company is gearing up to launch the phone, not only in the US and Europe, but in India as well. According to information obtained by Mysmartprice, the global launch for the Galaxy Fold is expected to be sometime before the end of July.

The Galaxy Fold comes with a 7.3-inch AMOLED display when unfolded, and a 4.6-inch AMOLED panel on the outside. The phone also packs in a Snapdragon 855 processor, paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. There’s also a 12MP + 12MP + 16MP triple rear camera and a 10MP + 8MP dual camera set up on the front. Apart from that, there’s also a 10MP selfie shooter.

The Galaxy Fold was announced alongside the Galaxy S10 series back in February for a price of $1980, which definitely means it’s not a phone for regular phone-purposes and more of a phone for people who want to experience the bleeding edge of what Samsung can do with smartphones, and more importantly, with displays. Let’s just hope the phone doesn’t encounter any other major issues now.

Stadia Chief Phil Harrison Thinks ISPs Will Automatically Increase Data Caps https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/google-stadia-pricing-availability.jpg

While there are a lot of questions around Stadia and whether it’ll be successful once it launches this November, one of the big ones is simply the fact that a streaming service that’s streaming 4K HDR games at 60FPS will burn through data in minutes, and in a world with exceedingly limited data caps, that could be a huge problem.

However, in an interview with GameSpot, Stadia chief Phil Harisson, said that he’s not too concerned about data caps imposed by ISPs. “The ISPs have a strong history of staying ahead of consumer trend and if you look at the history of data caps in those small number of markets … the trend over time, when music streaming and download became popular, especially in the early days when it was not necessarily legitimate, data caps moved up,” said Harrison, “Then with the evolution of TV and film streaming, data caps moved up, and we expect that will continue to be the case.”

Harrison further said that “ISPs are smart [and] they understand that they’re in the business of keeping customers happy and keeping customers with them for a long time,” which, as The Verge points out, is a very optimistic way of looking at ISPs and their relationship with their customers, at least in the United States.

Either way, we’ll only have to wait till November of this year to see how Google Stadia performs in the market, and whether ISPs go with the trend and increase data caps for their users (probably not).

Here’s Why Patanjali’s Kimbho Messaging App is Still on Hold https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Kimbho-Featured.jpg

Yoga guru Ramdev’s dream ‘swadeshi’ messaging app ‘Kimbho’ that aimed to give Facebook-owned WhatsApp a run for its money but was taken down from app stores last year owing to privacy concerns is still ‘on hold’, say company executives.

The Kimbho app, launched with much fanfare last year from the house of Patanjali Ayurved, promised features such as chat, multimedia, voice and video calling, video conferencing and collaboration.

Kimbho is a Sanskrit word which means “how are you” or “what’s new’. The app disappeared from the Google Play Store and App Store after users raised security concerns.

A trial version reappeared in August with Patanjali Ayurved promising a final version in couple of days. This version, however is yet to see the light of the day.

Patanjali, however, appears not to have given up on it completely yet.

According to Abhitab Saxena, Senior Vice President and Head of Information Technology at Patanjali, the Kimbho app is on hold for now.

“Baba Ramdev Ji and Acharya Balkrishna ji will announce it at a press conference if anything comes up. As for now, the ‘Kimbho app’ is on hold,” Saxena told IANS.

When asked about the recent status of the app and the future plans for Kimbho app, Saxena said that it is “confidential”.

“We will provide an update if anything happens, only Balkrishna Ji can give a clear image about the app’s status and everything related to the Kimbho app,” he added.

To run a messaging app like WhatsApp requires top-of-the-line IT infrastructure.

According to Anoop Mishra, one of the nation’s leading social media experts, “you need a team of Open Source experts, Cloud and content delivery network (CDN) experts, data engineers, an in-house team of core developers, API developers, user interface (UI) developers, in-house testing team and user data simulation team”, to run an app like WhatsApp.

“You also need an outsourced hacking team which keeps finding the loopholes in the existing system which was completely missing in ‘Kimbho’ which was a poorly-scripted app,” Mishra added.

S.K. Tijarawala, the national spokesperson of Patanjali Ayurved, did not respond to the questions about the status of the app.

To build and run a world-class messaging app requires a huge investment of time, tech expertise and money — and eventually needs 10 times more investment for handling servers, security issues and data breaches.

Whether Patanjali would make a fresh attempt to launch the messaging app with full preparation is still not clear but the firm still appears hopeful as it has not yet admitted to shelving it completely.

An Amazon Engineer Made an AI Cat Flap to Stop His Cat from Bringing Dead Animals Inside https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/ai-powered-cat-flap.jpg

If you sometimes find yourself wondering what good could AI possibly do in our daily lives, this might be something that will help – an Amazon engineer created a cat flap powered by AI and Machine Learning to stop his cat from bringing home dead animals in the middle of the night and waking him up.

Ben Hamm, the engineer, was annoyed by his ‘sweet, murderous cat’ bringing dead, and sometimes half-dead animals into his house. What Hamm did next, is pretty amazing.

He hooked up the cat flap in his door with an AI enabled camera, and a lock powered by an Arduino. He loaded up the camera with computer vision algorithms and trained them with images of his cat approaching the cat flap with and without a prey in its mouth.

Whenever the camera would detect that the cat had a prey in its mouth, it would lock the cat flap, and send Hamm a text; so he could get up and ensure the dead animal didn’t wind up in his house. A nice touch to the entire system was that anytime the system locked up because the cat had a prey in its mouth, the system would also send a donation to the National Audobon Society – a society that protects the birds that cats love to kill.

This is clearly a wonderful use-case of AI helping with regular everyday problems.

This App Brings a Notification LED to the Galaxy S10 https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/galaxy-s10-notification-led.jpg

As a Galaxy S10 user, I have been really happy with the phone, except for one thing — the damn thing has no notification LED. While I would find that annoying anyway, things are worse with the S10 because Samsung let go of such an amazing opportunity to make a ring light-up around the punch-hole camera to notify users of, well, notifications. Imagine how cool that would’ve been!

Alas, what Samsung didn’t give us, we now have, courtesy of Chainfire — yes, the developer behind some incredible apps for both rooted, and non-rooted devices. Chainfire has developed an app called ‘Holey Light’ (Free) which brings the notification LED to the Galaxy S10 in the best way possible — yup, a ring around the punch-hole camera.

It’s very easy to set-up, and there are a lot of controls over the notification light, per-app color settings, size, animation, etc.

Note: The Holey Light app requires a lot of permissions. If you’re not comfortable with that, you shouldn’t download the app because it won’t work without these permissions.

If you are okay with the permissions and you’ve downloaded the app, the rest is easy. The app guides you through the basic set up, after which you can adjust settings to suit your liking and needs.

For one, you can choose from a number of animations — Swirl is obviously the one that looks the best, but it’s also the one that will consume the most amount of battery (up to 5.5% per hour, according to Chainfire). Personally, I use the ‘Pie’ animation, since it just pops up on the punch-hole camera, and then stays that way, which is not only less of a distraction to me while I’m working, but it’s also less of a battery hog which is great.

Other that that, you can adjust the colors for various app notifications, and Holey Light even lets you set different colors for different notification channels being used by apps. However, the best part about Holey Light, is even if you’ve not set up colors for a particular app, it automatically assigns a suitable color to it, which is just great. Obviously, you can change these colours, or disable holey-light for a particular app, or notification channel completely if you want.

Holey Light is currently an unreleased beta, so there might be bugs. However, the developer is constantly working on fixes and patches, so you can rest assured that the bugs will be fixed.

So, if you were also looking for a great app that can add a notification LED to your Galaxy S10, download Holey Light (Free) from the Play Store. It’s great.

Huawei Allowed to Conduct Business with US Companies Again https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/huawei-sd-association-member.jpg

After over a month of the US imposed ban on Huawei that saw the Chinese giant being shunned by almost every major US-based technology giant, President Donald Trump has today announced that US companies will once again be allowed to sell their products to Huawei.

This comes in light of the recent trade talks held between the US President Donald Trump, and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jingping. President Trump said that he had come to an agreement with the Chinese president that the US will not raise tariffs on Chinese products, in return for China buying more agricultural products from the United States.

President Trump said, “We’re holding back on tariffs and they’re going to buy farm products.” He further added that relations between the two countries were “right back on track”

Along with that, he also mentioned that US companies will be allowed to sell products to Huawei again. “We send and we sell to Huawei a tremendous amount of product that goes into the various things they make,” said President Trump. He further added “I’ve agreed to allow them to continue to sell that product so American companies will continue.”

However, this doesn’t necessarily spell the end of troubles for Huawei – when he was asked whether Huawei would be removed from the US Department of Commerce’s Entity List, President Trump said that the two countries hadn’t discussed that yet, and that it would be discussed at the very end of trade talks with China.

Still, this spells out some good news for Huawei, which has seen US based companies stopping all business dealings with the company, and some non-US ones ceasing business with Huawei as well. At the very least, US based companies will once again be able to sell stuff to Huawei.

Spotify Leaking User Data with Music Labels: Report https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_696546328-e1551277044114.jpg

Swedish music streaming giant Spotify is reportedly leaking personal information of users who pre-save music on the app with content labels.

According to a billboard.com report, users who “pre-save” an upcoming release on their accounts may be sharing more personal data with the act’s label than they know.

Music labels on the music streaming app sometimes ask for permission to track user information about their accounts and listening habits, email addresses, recent play history, abilities to manage add and remove library items and create playlists.

This, despite being legal, raises questions on Spotify’s transpency and security.

“Spotify users who, for example, tried to pre-save the Little Mix single ‘Bounce Back’ from links shared by the act or its label — Sony Music, were prompted to agree that Spotify could allow Sony to ‘view your Spotify account data’, ‘view your activity on Spotify’ and ‘take actions in Spotify on your behalf’,” claimed the report on Thursday.

To let users pre-save upcoming albums, labels do need a certain amount of access to user accounts, but the music ctreaming giant has made it difficult to see the extent of permissions that labels ask for.

In addition, the company has not even taken actions to restrict the kind of information third parties can request from users — or what they can potentially do with it.

The Swedish app that came to India earlier this year was yet to comment on the matter.

It is pertinent to note that Spotify’s rival Apple Music does not share any identifying information on subscribers keeping in line with its approach to user privacy.

Earlier in April, Spotify crossed the 100 million global premium users mark and announced that the service reached the milestone by growing paid subscribers by 32-percent year-on-year. Including the free subscribers, the app has a total of 217 million monthly active users worldwide.

Google is Building a Subsea Cable between Europe and South Africa https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/equiano-cable-route.jpg

Google announced yesterday that the company will be building the first private undersea cable betweeen Europe and South Africa, and its third privately owned cable overall. The cable will be built by Alcatel Submarine Networks, and the first phase of the project is scheduled to be completed in 2021.

The Mountain View giant has named the undersea cable “Equiano” after Nigerian writer and abolitionist Olaudah Equiano, and according to Google, it will be the first subsea cable to use optical switching at the fiber level which makes it easier to adjust capacity on the fly.

Talking about Equiano, the search giant also claimed that this new cable will be able to carry about 20 times the capacity of the last cable that was built for the region. Moreover, the cable will feature a number of branching points along its route that can be used to connect other countries to Equiano in the future. Google already has plans to connect the cable to Lagos, Nigeria, and other countries will follow in the future.

Other than Equiano, Google has two other privately owned cables already — ‘Dunant’ between Europe and the US, and ‘Curie’ between the US and Chile.

Facebook to Hire Banking Expert to Run “Libra” https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/facebook-libra-announced.jpg

Facebook is looking to hire a seasoned executive to run its digital coin ‘Libra’ project who has the know-how of the complex government and central banking system.

According to David Marcus, Facebook’s vice president of messaging products and a key figure behind ‘Libra’ digital currency project, someone with experience in government and central banking would be a great choice to oversee the currency.

“We need someone who knows how economies tend to work, who understands how to operate in a very complex, decentralized governance type of environment,” Marcus told The Information on Friday.

Sensing a multi-billion dollar opportunity to improve the cross-border payments system, Facebook has announced to launch its own digital coin called ‘Libra’ next year.

“We need someone who has the gravitas to be able to carry the message on behalf of all the members — the 100 members and more of the association when this thing goes live — rather than have each and every one of us have piecemeal conversations left and right with all of the different governments and regulators that this whole network will be subject to,” Marcus elaborated.

The new digital wallet for ‘Libra’ currency would be available in Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and as a stand-alone app in 2020.

Facebook has tied up with 27 organisations around the world to start the non-profit Libra Association to create the new currency.

Marcus denied reports that banks have rejected Facebook’s invitation to join the Libra Association.

“We have had conversations with banks. We still have conversations with banks. And my expectation is that by the time this thing launches next year you will have banks that are going to be members of this,” Marcus was quoted as saying.

Apple May Shift Mac Pro Production from US to China https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/mac-pro-featured.jpg

In a move that should surprise no one, but is still surprising because of the ongoing trade tensions between the United States and China, Apple is reportedly considering shifting the production and assembly of its newly launched Mac Pro from the US to China.

This move is in stark contrast to other tech companies that are considering moving their manufacturing away from China, and especially considering that Donald Trump has been constantly asking Apple to move the production of its devices back to the United States.

It’s worth noting that the Mac Pro is the only device that’s being assembled in the US — in Austin, Texas. Other than that, all of Apple’s devices including the iPhone, iPod, iPad, and MacBooks are assembled in China, and with this new report, even that looks like it’s being outsourced.

A report in the Wall Street Journal on Friday said, “the tech giant has tapped Taiwanese contractor Quanta Computer Inc. to manufacture the $6,000 desktop computer and is ramping up production at a factory near Shanghai.”

Apart from China, Apple is also interested in making India one of its manufacturing hubs. In fact, back in April, Foxconn’s chairman Terry Gou said that the company would soon begin mass production of the iPhone in India. Foxconn has also been expanding its manufacturing operations in the country. According to Gou, this “will get Foxconn more deeply involved in the development of the country’s smartphone industry.”

Xiaomi Mi CC9 Meitu’s TENNA Listing Reveals Design and Specs https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/farmto-table-7-1.jpg

Xiaomi shows off Mi CC9 smartphone; launching July 2

Earlier it was rumored that Xiaomi’s new Mi CC9 series will see the company launch two smartphones – the Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e, but it was recently revealed that a third Mi CC9 smartphone – the Mi CC9 Meitu Edition will also make its debut on July 2 in China.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun took to Weibo earlier today to show off not just the packaging of the ‘Little Princess’ (codename for the Mi CC9 Meitu), but a few camera samples as well. You can check out both of these right here. However, we have now come across the TENNA listing for this smartphone and it gives us a close look at the design and some major specs of this device.

meitu mi cc9

Yeah, if you weren’t aware, Xiaomi is going to target young female users with the Mi CC9 Meitu edition. The overall build of this device is going to be similar to the standard CC9 but with a dual-tone with a prominent pink shade – instead of the Glacier White and blue gradient. It also has the Meitu branding on the rear panel, affirming that it will cater towards a female audience.

Apart from the color and design, the TENNA listing of the Mi CC9 Meitu (which carries the model number M1904F3BT) also sheds light on the dimensions, display, battery size, and more.

The dimensions of the Mi CC9 Meitu Edition is expected to be 156.8×74.5×8.67 mm and that it would weigh 179 grams. It will sport a 6.39-inch Full-HD+ OLED screen with a waterdrop notch up-top with a 32MP selfie camera. You’ll have the same triple-camera setup with a primary 48MP sensor on the rear.

Further, it will be powered by a 2.2GHz chipset, which we expect to be Snapdragon 730 and it’s expected to be coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It will come with Android 9 Pie and a 3,940mAh battery in tow, which sounds good enough.

Since it will be a female-centric smartphone, you can expect to see several new camera and beauty features that’s a result of Xiaomi and Meitu’s partnership. The pink gradient would also be accompanied with 7 other color variants, including black, red, blue, white, green, purple and gray. So, are you excited for the Mi CC9 series launch? Let us know in the comments below.

Android TV Update for Older-Gen Mi TVs Under Testing; Roll Out Expected Soon https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/20180927_140152.jpg

Mi TV Android TV stock experience

Apart from its popularity in the smartphone segment, Xiaomi has also made a name for itself in the smart TV market in India over the past year or so. The biggest mediator for their success has been the features on offer and the pricing, but the PatchWall UI on the older-gen Mi TVs wasn’t too likable.

Well, Xiaomi promised to roll out an Android TV-based update for old smart TVs when it launched new Pro models last year. But we hadn’t heard or seen anything related to the same until date (it’s been more than 9 months). However, it now seems like the much-awaited update may be closer to rollout.

In an official tweet sent out earlier today, Xiaomi Product Manager Sudeep Sahu revealed that the company has now started testing the beta builds of the Android TV-based update for the 32-inch and 43-inch Mi TV 4A. Yeah, the PatchWall UI on these older-gen Xiaomi smart TVs will be replaced with an Android TV-based ROM.

If you’re unaware, Xiaomi’s original Mi TV launches in India came with the company’s proprietary PatchWall UI in tow instead of a stock Android TV experience. Patchwall is described by Xiaomi as a one-stop solution for all your TV needs as it integrates all your streaming services (not Netflix, of course), TV programming, and more in a single pane.

Well, the Mi fans voiced their concern over PatchWall UI being the default on Mi TVs and requested Xiaomi to make a switch to Android TV because it offered more flexibility and capability to install apps of your smart TV. This led to the birth of its Mi TV Pro series, which comes with Android TV baked in. You do get PatchWall launcher applied on top, however, you can switch to the stock experience with the click of a remote button.

The biggest benefit of stock Android TV, of course, will have to be the availability of the Google Play Store. You will soon be able to scour for new apps and have a multitude of apps at your disposal at all times. So, even though late, are you excited that you older Xiaomi Mi TV 4A will bag an update soon? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Real-Life Images Leaked Online https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/note-10-plsu-real-life-images.jpg

note 10 plus real-life images

Samsung’s next Unpacked launch event, where it will unveil the flagship Note 10 series, is expected to be barely a month away. The rumor mill suggests an August 7 launch date for the Galaxy Note 10 and we’ve started to see a number of leaks pour in already. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Pro were being rumored to be the two upcoming models for the company’s upcoming flagships.

Real-life images leaked by Twitter user @Mr_TechTalkTV, however, now change up things and suggest that the bigger and higher-specced Note 10 would be called the Galaxy Note 10+ (you can see the bootloader screen in the image above) and not the Galaxy Note 10 Pro as rumored just a couple of days ago.

The leaked image attached below gives us a clear look at the punch-hole at the center of the screen at the top, which will obviously catch your eye first. However, don’t forget to notice the smaller bezels all-around and Galaxy S10-like edge-curved display.

The punch-hole looks to be almost the same size (if not a tad larger) as before and would likely host the same 10MP selfie snapper as the Galaxy S10 lineup. It’s difficult to discern whether I like its center placement or not from the leaked images, but it doesn’t look bad either.

galaxy note 10 plus - not note 10 pro

Further, the final leaked image shows off the back panel of the Galaxy Note 10+ but it’s blurred out – well, it looks the screenshot from the hands-on video wasn’t timed right by the tipster. However, you can see the vertical triple-camera module, with the TOF sensor and LED flash on the side if you look closely – putting it in line with the rumors that have surfaced recently.

Also, the design of the rear panel doesn’t appear to be ugly to me and looks perfectly in line with recent trends as opposed to certain leaks. It does seem like a really tall device though and it would be interesting to see the full-specs and handleability of the Galaxy Note 10+. What are your expectations from the Galaxy Note 10+? Let us know in the comments below.
