Honor Band 4 With Automatic Swim Tracking Launched in India for Rs 2,599 https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/honor-band-4.jpg

Huawei’s offshoot Honor has refreshed its lineup of fitness tracking products with the launch of Honor Band 4. The fitness band features a colored AMOLED display, swimming detection, and a heart rate sensor.

Honor Band 4 features a 0.95-inch touchscreen with a curvature of 2.5D and a resolution of 240×120. Users can navigate through the menu by using swipe gestures as well as the home button. Compared to the Honor Band 3, which is only Rs 100 cheaper, the new band comes with a colored display and is expected to have better legibility and better utility.

Honor Band 4 reportedly comes with Huawei’s TruSleep technology which uses advanced cardiopulmonary measurements techniques to track sleep cycles and related heart rate data accurately. Additionally, the band is also capable of detecting REM sleep and offers advice to help you get better sleep quality.

When it comes to measuring the heart rate, Honor makes big claims. As per the company, Honor Band 4 uses dynamic algorithms to measure heart rate accurately in different scenarios. Furthermore, it can also be used to track heart rate continuously throughout the day and even warn users when their heart rate is alarmingly high.

Another great highlight of the Honor Band 4 is that it comes with water resistance at up to 5ATM (equivalent to 50 meters), which means you can go swimming with it. The band can also track strokes automatically while you’re swimming, that to the 6-axis sensor it uses.

Honor Band 4 will not only inform you about the incoming calls but also look up numbers online. Further, users will be able to accept or reject incoming calls.

Lastly, coming to the battery of the Honor Band 4, Honor says it will last 17 days under normal usage and that presumably does not include continuous heart rate monitoring. The company also mentions that the backup will drop to 6-7 days when sleep tacking is switched on.

The Honor Band 4 is priced at Rs 2,599 (as predicted accurately by Indian tipster Ishan Agarwal) and will be available exclusively via Amazon India starting tomorrow i.e. December 18. Beware, the band is already listed on Amazon India but at a much higher price, so make sure you check for the official listing before buying.
