90hz supported games on play store

Moving on from notches and cameras, the newest smartphone trend that is expected to catch heat in the coming months is higher refresh rates. The gaming smartphone niche already has a few contenders, including the 120Hz-supporting Razer Phone 2 and 90Hz-supporting ROG Phone and Nubia Red Magic 3. However, the support for higher refresh rates is now expanding beyond gaming phones to flagships with OnePlus 7 Pro touting a higher 90Hz refresh rate.

So, if you are someone who has picked up the OnePlus 7 Pro or are looking to get one, well, you would certainly enjoy the buttery smooth gaming experience on this device. I, however, like to make it clear not a whole lot of Android games support a higher 90Hz refresh rate, so we’ve compiled a list of 90Hz-supported games on the Play Store:

List of Games with Support 90Hz Refresh Rate

Note: We will on the lookout for more games that support the higher 90Hz refresh rate, and will keep updating the list regularly.

There’s one thing I would like to point out before doling out the list of games which are 90Hz-supported and available on the Google Play Store. We have tested out most of the games on the newly launched OnePlus 7 Pro, which carries a display with a higher 90Hz refresh rate.

It’s important to note that when you start a game on the OnePlus 7 Pro, the Game Mode kicks in and locks the refresh rate to 60Hz to save some precious battery, even if you’ve been using the device at the higher 90Hz refresh rate. So, if you’re going to download & play any of the games on this list on your OnePlus 7 Pro, then make sure to jump out of the game and switch the refresh rate back to 90Hz from the settings menu to see much smoother gameplay.

Now that we’ve gotten that off the way, here are all the games on the Play Store which support 90Hz refresh rates:

1. Final Fantasy Brave Exvius: It’s a free-to-play role-playing game, a first for global mobile players from the Final Fantasy franchise, which sees you combine magic abilities with tactical expertise to defeat enemies
