The Honor Band 5 was launched late last month in China, and it’s coming to India very soon.
Flipkart has put up a microsite for the fitness tracker, hinting that the Honor Band 5 might be launching in the country very soon.
The Honor Band 5 comes with a colour AMOLED display, same as last year’s Honor Band 4, and its main competition, the Mi Band 4. Apart from that, the Honor Band 5 includes a new SpO2 sensor that can measure blood oxygen levels and can detect hypoxemia dizziness — a condition that stems from the body not receiving enough oxygen.
The Honor Band 5 also comes with a heart rate sensor that also supports real-time heart rate tracking, 50 meters of water resistance, and 10 distinct fitness modes including activity detection and support for things like outdoor running, indoor running, walking, rowing machine, elliptical machine, and more. It can also detect different swimming strokes so if you’re swimming with the Honor Band 5, you’ll get more accurate data about your swim.
It can also show you your notifications, find your phone, and even supports being used as a remote to click pictures on your smartphone. Plus, it can last up to 14 days on a single charge.
